Roleplay journal where the character Jewel Markess ATerafin from The Sun Sword and The House War series by Michelle West is portrayed. The character belongs completely to the incomparably brilliant Michelle West, the player is only paying homage to her. Kate Winslet belongs to herself, her image is merely being borrowed. No profit is being made from this.

Strength in Weakness

From the holdingsJewel was born to a part Annagarian family in Averalaan, the capital of Essaliyan. At the age of ten, all her family had died, leaving her on the streets. However, Jay managed not only to survive there, through her gift as one of the Seer-born, but to form important connections to people that would end up helping her for all of their respective lives. Many of these people were fellow street children, and together they formed Jay's den. During the terrible Henden of 410, when she was about fifteen, she helped House Terafin and the city in general so against the demons that she and her den were offered not only places in the House but also the House name. Most of them accepted the name, Jewel included.

Jewel was the Terafin's most trusted companion and advisor for much of the fifteen years she spent purely serving the House, and not simply because she was a Seer. During the epic war between demons, the Essaliyan Empire, and the Dominion of Annagar, mainly over Annagar's throne, Jewel was forced to leave the House and serve in the war in a number of very special ways. But not before the Terafin privately told her that she would be heir.

She returned to the House just in time to be there when the Terafin was killed by a demon. The night after that event, she was brought to Moksa.To the HouseName: Jewel Markess ATerafin
